By Auckland Business Chamber on October 27, 2020

Welcome to the October 2020 update of In The Chamber. This month we look at the recent election, the inevitable effects Brexit will have on trade and how we're working to continue our support for New Zealand business in the coming months.

An update from our CEO

Watch here for a special election edition video where Chamber CEO, Michael Barnett, reflects on the election results and discusses the implications for business under the clear-cut new Labour government.

Brexit will come into effect on January 1st

Are you exporting to the European Union and/or the UK? The two will become separate markets on January 1, 2021. This will be in the middle of the New Year break and complicated by COVID stockpiling and restrictions.

Be ready and begin your preparations here.
